Patricia Peter is a British architect and designer who honed her craft at leading international studios, such as Foster + Partners and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). She has contributed to a wide range of projects in cities such as London and Hong Kong. Known for her keen eye for detail and passion for bringing designs to life, Patricia’s work reflects both her creativity and technical expertise.

After years of designing and shaping architectural spaces, Patricia embarked on a new creative journey — one sparked by a quote she encountered as a young architecture student in London. It was then that her fascination with storytelling and cinematic world-building first began to take root. In 2022, she transitioned into film and television, enrolling in the Production Design MFA program at the AFI Conservatory in Los Angeles, California, marking the start of a transformative new chapter.

Since completing the MFA program, Patricia has primarily worked on short films, with a few selected for screening at various film festivals. More recently, she has been selected for the Art Directors Guild’s Production Design Initiative 2025 (ADG PDI) — a competitive mentorship and job training program that supports emerging talent in the industry. This recognition marks a key milestone in her creative journey and reinforces her dedication to the craft and to growing within the art department for film and television.

Combining her background in architectural design and construction phase coordination, Patricia’s interest is in set design where she has not only expanded her creative horizons but also has acquired additional skills across various computer drafting and modeling software.

Patricia’s international background, learning mindset, and love of travel and culture have profoundly shaped her creative journey, fuelling her passion for storytelling and world-building. She embraces collaboration as the cornerstone of her process and thrives in environments where ideas flow freely. Patricia values the opportunity to learn from fellow designers and artists, whose unique talents continually inspire her to push the boundaries of her own creativity.
